Fresno Heat Relief Locations

When Fresno summer heat becomes dangerous, the City of Fresno activates a network of free resources to help residents stay cool and safe. This list includes designated Cooling Centers, community centers, public splash pads, and recreational swimming pools available throughout the city. Free FAX bus rides are also available to Cooling Center sites during heat activations.

Important: Cooling Centers open based on weather forecasts, not fixed dates. Hours, locations, and opening dates change each season. Always verify current status at fresno.gov or call 559-621-CITY (2489) before visiting
